Dr Frank Werger

Frank works within Aegis as an Of-Counsel wage tax specialist. He studied Fiscal Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam and obtained his PhD from the same university in 2011.

He started his career as an all-round (international) wage tax specialist in 2000 at PwC, after which he continued his career at Deloitte in 2015. Since 1 January 2023, he has run his own advisory practice and joined Aegis as Of-Counsel.
In addition to his work as a tax consultant, he has been active as a part-time lecturer/scientist at the Fiscal Economic Institute B.V. of Erasmus University Rotterdam since 1998. In 2011, he obtained his doctorate from Erasmus University Rotterdam on the topic “Wage sum levy”.  He is also active within the Dutch Association of Tax Advisers and regularly publishes in tax law journals.

Clients

Since the beginning of his working life, Frank combines his scientific interests with the day-to-day practice of his clients. In doing so, he not only enjoys solving the day-to-day issues of his clients, but also focuses on the more (socially relevant) complex cases in the field of (international) employee-related taxes. He is also active in advising on employee participations as well as the Merger and Acquisition (M&A) practice.
